It's the time of the year again!

ELECTONE FESTIVAL COMPETITION 2009

Last year, MUSEMOB (the group I'm in) won in the REGIONAL FINALS 08. Thus, we're officially competing in the NATIONAL FINALS. It was a fruitful competition as we emerged as winners in the NATIONAL FINALS! =)

We're back this year with 2 different members as Hui Ting is in London while Lily is busy with her own things.

MEZZO TWELVETO - our group name symbolises half of 12 (since there are 6 of us).

The 4 members who are still in the group:-

The new members:-

Angela (electone)

Wei Fung (electone) the only guy in this group

There is this rule that states "Electone must comprises at least 50% of the instruments used". Therefore, Wei Fung who initially plays the violin has to be sacrificed. =P

mid-term break

One week of mid-term break is going to an end real soon. I'm trying to update my blog. I'm TRYING!

Anyway, a week of holiday doesn't make much difference. I'm still pretty much occupied.

My composition as an assignment for Workshop (final touch and start to write the scores out using the computer/Sibelius program). Almost forgot about program notes and recording -_-

I drove to academy today just to finish up my instrumentals version of my song using the SONAR program. I'm finally done with it! The vocals part will come soon. =) and yes, I need to sing =.=

Harmony class has loads of homework. =/

I've not started on the improvisation style that Richard wants (it's technically demanding!!)

Transposition has only 5 keys but UNFORTUNATELY, it's all the 5 black minor keys T.T

I cannot decide what should I do for my Lecture & Seminar assignment. RESEARCH TIME!

T-O-T-A-L-L-Y forgotten about Moral assignment. I dread this subject.

6 short passages to be analysed. The pieces are short, but the analysis has to be very very very VERY VERY detailed. sighh

Piano exam is coming soon. I'm praying for August! Pray for me! Everything is still in a mess. Hopefully, can make it by then.

Electone pieces & impro....erm, let's just skip to the next point.=/

LASTLY and most importantly, I managed to memorise my part for the competition! I'll blog more about the competition on the next post! =)

Overall, I'm in an exceptionally good mood today! =D

Firstly, piano class(yamaha klang) got cancelled and WAS SUPPOSED to replace it tomorrow after jazz class in college. However, after jazz, I got solfege replacement class...

The only choice is to have my piano class at 5pm (rushing back from college) but my teacher is unavailable which makes it a class cancellation for this week!!

I don't know why, but I always feel the stress and pressure to go for my piano class! So, knowing the piano class has cancelled made me feel relieved. Now, while I'm typing this down, I've just realised that I had sooo many class cancellations. How am I going to replace them??? =O

Anyway, next, dad popped out the idea of driving all the way to Subang Parade (just to show me the way and try whether my car can enter the parking route or not - my car or rather my brother's ex-car is modified, so it's really lowwwww). I'm going to work on this coming Saturday in Yamaha Subang Parade.

YES... I'm going to work. It's my first time working although this job is not really considered a job as in really a job. what am i talking about???!! =_=

I'll elaborate on the job later on.

I'm starting to hate driving when the sun is scorching hot just like today.
Mom commented that my face and arms grew darker ever since I start driving. I even think that my thighs grew darker already. T.T

Maybe I should wear long pants and long sleeve shirt next time. =/

Sometimes, I think I can never survive without my dad. He prepares everything, EVERYTHING for me.

For example, I drive to college every monday and I'll wake up seeing the car keys, smart tag, handsfree and a note on the table.

Today's note is a little 'swt-ish';
BECAREFUL OF THE FLOWER POT IN FRONT OF THE CAR!!!

See how 'swt-ish' the note is.
Anyway, the flower pot belongs to my neighbour.

I hate the Klang bridge, I wonder how long will I be stuck on the bridge today =/

I need to revive my blog =)

The list of events I'm supposed to blog if I can still remember:-

1. Yamaha end of semester concert ( A Night of Magical Music)
2. Chinese New Year I don't know why, but I feel stupid to blog about CNY now
3. Sabah trip
4. All the outings, parties, farewells and etc.
5. My examination results (I'm still not sure whether I should blog about it since it's kind of confidential.
6. 3rd semester of my course (on how stressful my course is I know it's just the 4th week but I can feel it already =O , my juniors, events in academy)
6. Lily's birthday celebration

I guess that's all? Anyway, it'll take ages for me to update. Homework is flooding in already. =/
